The Ducati SuperSport 950 has a 937cc, Testastretta, L-twin cylinder, Desmodromic, 4-Valve per cylinder, liquid-cooled motor. This engine mates with a six-speed transmission gearbox. Also, this engine makes 110bhp at 9,000rpm and 93Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The motor has an electronic fuel injection system and 53mm throttle bodies with full Ride-by-Wire. The 2-1-2 exhaust system is lightweight, with a catalytic converter and two lambda probes.
Ducati has announced the launch of the BS6-compliant Supersport 950 in the Indian market. This motorcycle is available in two variants – Standard and S. The updates in styling this model feature a headlight design, a sportier fairing, a muscular fuel tank, a tall windscreen, rear-view mirror integrated front turn indicators, a step-up saddle, a twin-pod exhaust outlet and a waterproof USB socket under the seat.
The premium model benefits from fully-adjustable 48mm Ohlins upside-down front forks and an Ohlins rear mono-shock to handle the suspension tasks; the base model uses 43mm USD Marzocchi front forks, a Sachs mono-shock at the back. The braking setup on both models includes two 320mm front discs and a single 245mm rear rotor. The three riding modes (Sport, Touring, and Urban), cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, and a bidirectional quick-shifter come under electronic aids.
The Ducati Supersport 950 features an LED headlight, a 4.3-inch full-TFT display, a single-sided swingarm, raised handlebars, a revised seat, three-spoke ‘Y’ aluminum wheels, and the Pirelli Diablo Rosso 3 tires. The Ducati SuperSport 950 has an anti-locking braking system with front and rear disc brakes. The color options available for this model are Ducati Red and Star White Silk.
