ABOUT MOTO GUZZI BIKES
Moto Guzzi, the oldest European motorcycle manufacturer in continuous production, has a rich history dating back to 1921. Founded by the visionary trio of Carlo Guzzi, Giorgio Parodi, and Angelo Parodi. This iconic brand is now a subsidiary of Piaggio & C. SpA. Moto Guzzi’s golden years were marked by historic victories in various competitions, including the “season of great victories” with models like the Gambalunga 500, Motoleggera, Gambalunghino, and the renowned Mandello Twin, known for both its racing prowess and design excellence.
Racing History
A significant milestone in Moto Guzzi’s racing history was the introduction of the 8-cylinder motorcycle. This makes it capable of reaching an astonishing 275 km/h and earning a well-deserved place in the Racing Motorcycle Hall of Fame. The brand achieved numerous accolades, including 3329 wins in official races, 14 world titles, and 11 Tourist Trophies. The establishment of “The Clan,” a global community of Moto Guzzi enthusiasts, further solidified the brand’s legacy, offering exclusive access to news, previews, behind-the-scenes insights, rallies, and special events.
Design and Technology
Moto Guzzi has been known for introducing various innovations over the years. They are the first to bring a motorcycle with a centre stand, a wind tunnel-tested fairing, and the first motorcycle with a sidecar wheel leaning with the bike.
